Since images can be links to images on other web sites, it should be possible to setup a web site separate from Meetup.com, and link to an 'image' on that site. There is nothing to prevent an image URL from running code on a 3rd party site that then provides the 'image of the moment' instead of the same one all the time.

There would be a cost in having another web server though. But .. if AdBrite was smart, they would figure out how to use a simple image URL to do this. Maybe someone could contact AdBrite with this idea?? All they would need to do is figure out how to create a unique URL for each subscriber that looked like an image URL.

This couldn't be done on the welcome page though, only the About Us pages and Message board (it's possible to embed images in a message board title).
