Hmm... yeah, I guess that works :) And to know that you strip out the autoplay code heartens me :)

Timothy

Thank you, thank you, thank you for stripping out the autoplay code!

I was a little skeptical about the video embedding, until I tried my first one. I use YouTube a lot, so I know the user has to click play which is a plus. Auto-play sucks for people with slow connections. But anyway, since I help with a movie group, I'm going to start putting the trailer (if available) up for the next event we go to. Check it out:

Thanks so much to the awesome Meetup crew!

Autoplay baaad! Good to know it still functions properly if you strip that part of the code out.

I'm still psyched about the vie capacity- now I just need to record something to upload!
Thanks!

Ok- Medina!
I just found one of my 4yo playing drums at a recent playdate.
Hopefully YouTube will have it online soon.

Check it out! (hopefully!)

Youtube.com does say that it might take 20 minutes or more for the fole to be viewable- and I just uploaded it.

Next I'll be uploading both my kids belly dancing- you can put that on MBDMU if you like.
It's pretty cute in my estimation, but I'm probably more than a bit biased. lol

Changes are great - really hoping to see a scheduler that will at least allow for meetups every other week or even better one that allows any other meetup schedule such as a main meeting every month with smaller meetups every week or how about a smart meetup that sends out "we're on" or "we're off" messages depending on how many people RSVP by the day before a meetup.

Thanks for the continued work

Great work all!!! Love all the new changes, and I love Paul's ideas above....

I love meetup more and more every day. -- Thanks to meetup I now organize three groups, joined my first one around a year ago -- when I knew NO ONE in Houston, and now I have HUNDREDS of friends that I can do things with!!!!!

If you had job openings in Houston, I'd be tempted......

Walter and Meetup -

Yep, good job on the changes. Me like.

Now, if there was only some way to kill the autopost events...I've had a couple of them seriously confuse members by randomly concocting a place to meet, especially when I already have the real next meeting event info posted and haven't been back to the board in a few days to delete the poser. If there is a way (or plans in the works) to disable this "feature", I'd love it.

Hm? hm? pretty please?

Isn't there a way to turn that off? I can't recall either, but when the group gets created I recall setting something that said how often we would meet. Where do I go to turn that off so I can just do it myself?
