And,We're actually spending a LOT of time this Summer looking at a variety of ways to make things more calendar-centric in their presentation. We don't have any final decisions yet but I expect you'll see some form of a calendar presentation this year. Great idea - I'll suggest it to the tech team. |

I would LOVE to see a way to add recurring events. I have an event that happens every Wednesday and Friday throughout the summer. Sometimes I forget to copy it and miss a week, luckily my AOs catch me!
Another plus would be a spot for an ENDING time. Currently I write this out in the Notes section, but an optional ending time field would be very useful. Thanks for all the upgrades. It seems like every time I log on there's something new to make my Organizing life easier! |

I love the video function. I was starting to get really annoyed that hadn't been added yet. Thanks.
On feedback. I had to put up a video on our about page for our group, but have had some varied responses from members who have checked it out for me. They claim the video doesn't always work, or it is blurry. I am not sure if this the video hosting server or meetup, but thought I would pass it along. sahm.meetup.com/123/about |

Multiple recurring events. End time. I will pass these on to the powers that be.
Anne, I checked out your video. It looked and played perfect for me. The next time someone says it's not appearing correctly, please have them contact us at support@meetup.com. Maybe it's something with their computer, internet connection, or just sporadic problems with the video host. Matthew Edited by Matthew "Superkid" James on Jul 24, 2006 11:19 AM |

I am attempting to utilize all the new and wonderful tools that Meetup is offering to revamp our website.
In the organizer central section, I am seeing all sorts of fonts and font sizes in some of the groups that Meetup is touting as the best examples of "About" pages. Please tell me how can I utilize different fonts and sizes? Also, I see one group with a large "Join Now" button. I please was wondering how I could obtain one of those, and how to insert it on my page? Thanks. peace, Sheikh Abdullah Muzaffer La ilaha illa Hu: The Saint Louis Sufism Meetup Group http://sufism.meetup.... |

Hello Sheikh Abdullah Muzaffer:
I am attempting to utilize all the new and wonderful tools that Meetup is offering to revamp our website. There are some wonderful guides to using basic html to enhance fonts and add features to your 'About' page in The Good Stuff File. Please check out the following threads to start: Hilary's Guide to Images Grant's Guide to Message Board Formatting Also, I see one group with a large "Join Now" button. I please was wondering how I could obtain one of those, and how to insert it on my page? You won't be able to see the 'Join Now' button on your site while logged onto your Meetup Account. When potential members click on your site, the red button is predominantly featured on your Welcome Page. I hope this helps! Please keep us posted ~ ![]() Andrea |

Thanks Walter for telling us about these options. I think videos and sound bites are just more great ways to attract Web site users. Some people like to "read" their information, others like to view it or hear it. Videos and sound bites give them that option. I'm just learning how to make short videos. I haven't posted any on my sites yet, but plan to do so. I encourage others to do so as well. Be creative. Have fun.

Video good, but events are GONE - NOT GOOD
Because of the nature of my site, my events NEVER have an RSVP, therefore they seem to be gone from the front page. I HATE this. |
