Discuss Meetup › Help and technical assistance for using Meetup.com › Important News: The Discuss Meetup forums will be closing on March 25th
This message board is read-only.
We'd like to thank all of you for the passionate feedback and discussions that have powered the forums over the years.
Your voices, along with our Usability Lab, Member Surveys & Interviews, Meetup’s Uservoice, Meetups @HQ, and Organizer Meetups have been an invaluable resource to us in shaping the future of Meetup. We’re grateful for it. Many of us have made good friends through the forums over the years too.
However, as we've grown, we've found that having multiple conversations across different streams is impractical, and creates a frustrating experience for everyone. Consequently we will be closing down the Discuss Meetup forums as of Friday, March 22nd.
Take heart! There are many ways for you to stay actively involved in the community. Here’s how:
Report Bugs: For those of you who have been awesome at catching bugs on the platform, you can review known issues and report problems with the site through here.
Collaborate with other Organizers at an Organizer Meetup: Find an Organizer Meetup in your neighborhood and connect with local Organizers to share best practices for how to run great Meetups. If you don’t have an Organizer Meetup in your neighborhood yet, reach out to us directly and we’ll help you start one up. Also, stay tuned for even more new resources to help connect Organizers.
Contribute Suggestions to Meetup’s Uservoice: Here’s where you can express your opinion about current features, request additional features, or chime in on existing suggestions for how we can make your Meetup experience better.
Participate in Meetup’s Usability Lab: Each week we recruit members, non-members and Organizers to test out new product in-person and remotely (via the web). We don't launch anything without a turn in the Usability Lab. If you'd like to volunteer your time for general research, please sign up here.
Respond to surveys: We conduct surveys throughout the year to better understand your priorities and wishes, as well as how people experience Meetup. We send them out to random selections of members regularly. Be on the lookout for those.
Again, we appreciate your support and feedback on the Discuss Meetup forums over the years. While the forums will be closed as of Friday, March 22nd, the content will remain on the site as read only through Monday, March 25th.
If you have additional questions and concerns, you can also reach the Community Team anytime directly via our contact form.
