Hello Everyone!
I have been thinking that it would be a good idea to share with you all Essential and Useful Organizer Links to be found on Meetup.com. It's been brought to my attention lately that so many Meetup Organizers have no idea about all the Organizer resources available. So I have decided to list all the great tools that I am aware of. To begin with, Meetup.com has general Messageboards (discussmeetup.com They are to be found on your home page when you log onto Meetup. Here is a screenshot: ![]() If you click on the discussmeetup.com Help and technical assistance for using Meetup.com Need Help? Have Questions? Find a Bug? Seek technical advice about how to use Meetup.com here. Know the ropes? Offer advice and help other users. New Features & Upgrades to Meetup.com Check here for news about the latest improvements and additions to Meetup.com. Suggestions for making Meetup.com better What do you love about the Meetup.com service? What don't you love? What can Meetup.com do to improve? Have a Wish? Discuss our features and service here. Success Stories from Meetups around the world How did your last Meetup go? Who came? What did you do? Be sure to tell us the name and location of your Meetup chapter, too. Reports are fun to read, and they can let other Members know what really happens at a Meetup. Member Forum We want to hear what members think! If you have questions, suggestions, feedback, or just want to connect with other Meetup members, this is the place for you. Organizers' Forum Are you an unabashed Organizer? How can you make your Meetups better? Share ideas on being a great Organizer here! (Please note: This forum is not a place to seek members for your Meetup. For promotional ideas, check out the Organizer Center.) The Off-Topic Lounge Want to share some humor, talk about something other than Meetup, or just chat with other members of this board? Here's the place! (Please... No announcements or messages meant for local groups or specific topics.) You will find posts by regular members of Meetup, Meetup Organizers, and also Meetup Headquarters staff. Anyone can post in these forums! So feel free to search these forums if you are looking for some information...or have a question for Meetup HQ! You can tell when a member of Meetup Staff posts because it says "Meetup Staff" under their profile picture. Aurora ![]() Edited by Aurora on Sep 28, 2007 8:53 PM |

Wow ... you did an awesome job here, Aurora!
![]() They say that "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" ... would it be OK with you if I posted these posts on the message board of the Organizer group that I organize? Usually, I would put an idea I ran across into my own words and then post it, but this is so awesome, I am afraid I could not find the words to say it all as well as you have. ![]() (I would, of course, give you credit as author ... if you grant me permission to cross-post.) Thanks, Pamela Twin Cities Meetup Organizer Collective |

Wow ... you did an awesome job here, Aurora! Gee thanks, Pamela! I'm glad you found the information to be useful. I would be happy if you would post it in your Org Group, with my name credited to the info. I actually decided to create all this info because of a discussion with a fellow Meetup Organizer in my own Montreal area Organizer Meetup Group, Area 51. I posted this all in Area 51 as well. Thanks! Aurora ![]() Edited by Aurora on Sep 29, 2007 12:11 PM |
