Weekly release: March 25, 2008

Two new things rolling out on Tuesday (Mar 25) of this week:

1. We added "did you mean" functionality to our site and message board search. So now, if you accidentally mis-type something (or don't know how to spell it in the first place;) we'll offer you a suggestion.

2. We returned the "share your thoughts about this event" question and the attendance estimate to the past event survey. And we returned the "share your thoughts about this event" comments back to the past event page (whatever comment a member leaves in the survey about the event will once again appear next to their name on the "who attended" list).

Is that correct?? I just returned from another Meetup (as a member) and when I logged in to "rate the event," there was no box to add a comment about the event. There was a follow-up screen that read, "Okay, now your next step is to talk about this meetup," and then I clicked back to the "Talk About This Meetup" thing that was already confusing, and is already more confusing *now*, but if you're leaving your comment in the revised "Talk About This Meetup," then how does the comment show up next to your name?

Explain. Please. I'm quadruply confused.

What have you done to the Welcome Pages on the "_ category_ Meetups Everywhere" page???

Ex: Tarot Meetups Everywhere, Classic Films Meetups Everywhere, etc...


Where are our nice graphics and pointers to various new groups, etc, etc, etc???? And now we've got the quotes featured.. oh dear...

What have you done to the Welcome Pages on the "_ category_ Meetups Everywhere" page???

The Tarot Meetups Everywhere link leads to a stats page for your main topic, which lists the Newest and Largest sitewide. It also features the closest Meetup to your registered location prominently at the top of the page, which is your Meetup.

Where are our nice graphics and pointers to various new groups, etc, etc, etc???? And now we've got the quotes featured.. oh dear...

Where are you missing content? Can you be more specific?
