Hi everyone,

We're launching our new features Wednesday morning (EDT). All the details are on our blog post here, which also includes video walk-throughs.

  • Spring Cleaning: the site redesign
  • Meetup Places
  • Payments
  • Meetup API
  • and more ...

We've already made a lot of changes based on your feedback, but now's your chance to use everything firsthand. So go ahead and try it out and then come back and share your thoughts. Hopefully you're all as excited about this new release as we are!

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST - it contains the list of what we're working on fixing.

Thanks!
Jesse

Now I am anxious.smile

Its finally going live.shock

Only a few hours to go. (Having trouble working out exact timing as you quote EST, but the internet tells me New York is on EDT right now.confused) however that makes it sometime during or just after lunch we can expect a break in transmission. Followed by ...<gulp>cool

EDT. It's EDT. Fixing now. (So, in just over an hour from now.)

Jump to Page 75

Since the one issue I had with the new site has been resolved (there's several things I don't like, but that's different from a bug I was encountering), I edited my post: removed the issue and added a jump to page 75 so people don't have to jump four pages at a time.

I'm having a real hard time using the new Message Board. My group uses the board A LOT. It was better with alternating colours. It made things easier to see. Now it looks like it's one big white page with blue lines on it. Please do something about it. Bring back alternating thread colours to make it easier to view. How come the pictures and formating we had in the thread titles disapeared? Now it makes the message board a Message Bored!

I also hate the colours. Grey is so depressing. If I wanted grey, I would have created a Yahoo Group.

The messsage board is REALLY hard to read! I'm already getting emails from members because they hate the new format of the board. It's too hard to locate the "orange dots" that indicate unread messages.
