Mark_at_Meetup Meetup Staff New York, NY Post #: 45	Hello everyone, For our launch that is going out Tuesday, September 9th we have some new features and bug fixes, but the thing I am most excited to announce is Meetup is now available in Italian! Outside of the US and Canada, Italy has the most visitors to Meetup.com. Now every Italian speaking person in the world can start or join a Meetup Group for just about anything! Italian is the first of many languages Meetup hopes to add as we expand internationally. We plan on having Meetup translated to Spanish, French, German and Portuguese by the end of 2008. To switch which language the site is in, go to virtually any page and click on the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner. Select "Italiano" and Ta-da! Meetup is in Italian. To switch back to English, just click the drop down menu again and select "English (US)". If you see an incorrect translation or have a suggestion on how to make one better, visit this message board thread and let us know. http://www.meetup.com... We can't promise we'll incorporate every change we receive, but we will take all of your suggestions into consideration as fast as we can. In other news... We also fixed several bugs: * fixed large images breaking message board titles * fixed ability to filter venue comments * fixed broken link to member profile on message boards * fixed copy on create a Meetup group confirmation page to correctly display how frequent your Meetups were * fixed the way the city newsletter email formatted in Windows Live Hotmail * fixed api to return a flag when a calendar event is an event vs a note Grazie!
