Weekly Release: March 31st, 2009

Responses to the above in no particular order:

• The launch has not yet happened, so none of this stuff is live yet. It will be tomorrow (March 31st) morning at 9am EST.
  
• Message board forum view activity indicator is done and waiting to be scheduled into a release. I can't give an ETA on this.
  
• Slide show functionality is something we hope to add to the photo section shortly. No ETA on this.
  
• The new grid view of albums has a sort by album create time or by last activity time.
  
• We will look into adding rich editing (bold,italics,etc) to the photo comment box.
  
• Ability to email sub-groups of members is not currently in development, but is a common request and something we want to get to.

How about organizing our albums in the order that we want them to be instead of the order in which they are created?

yes, arrows to better browse the photos are important

it would be nice to have easy access to the URL where the photo is stored. Right now the only way I see to do that is to click on the photo and get the full size pop up in a new window. In the past, by right clicking you could get the urls for each sizes available for each of the photos. Knowing the URL is kind of important to create events and add photos into event description body (althought the add photo button is still missing in the description box when you create a new event)

Nestor, we added a link called "All sizes" which shows the url to each photo size for easy cut and paste.

Did this happen yet? It's after 9 am, the banner is gone, but there are no changes to the Photo section that I can see. Everything is the same.

Ah, just a little late on the update, the changes look better. We'll have to see if the bugs are gone.

How I do STOP that thumbnail bar from appearing and hiding the bottom part of the picture???

and I must have misunderstood the update flash- where is the extra page for all albums? What I see is the same right hand list, still without the last upload date.

I'm whining, I know, but all I wanted was a faster, bulk upload. The other changes are not upgrades to me.

I would like thumbnails the way they were, with a slideshow option.
I would like the albums listed to go back to the center and more than 5 listed.
I would like the ability to set who can make comments or allow me to moderate them.

Thanks Greg! I know you guys are working hard on a bunch of stuff, I just hadn't seen mention in awhile and would love to switch over to F.view.

Off to go check out the new albums! :)

TY for the top stationary arrows

Can the link for the SEE ALL albums be placed at the top of the list? ... it is meant for groups with many albums... as it is now it is at the bottom of the many album links that are there..

Ditto the scroll bar covering the images ... can that be adjusted? if not oh well...

Where is the grouping of links for the diff size images? is it in the actual image? ie click each img to see it?

PS like the sort by feature.. very helpful in finding group albums of images we use for the boards and events... ty.
