The all album view is under the "See all" link at the bottom of the album list (Wendy, I will look into getting that higher). The all sizes are under the "All sizes" link to the right of the main photo.

Ok More feedback:

Pro:
- I think the navigation issue is fixed. I like the arrows.
- I like the big picture.
- Ok on the All Size link...

Con:
- The pop slide bar that covers the lower third of the picture is completely annoying and distracting. It covers up the picture and you have to move the mouse away from the arrow to make it go away and this it comes back. Please put this thing below the picture and NOT on top of the picture. Give it a black background and there, everyone will be happy again. Well..maybe :)
- Still NO WAY to turn off comments. I do not have time to be policing comments in another area.
- There is so much wasted space below the comments, just bring back the old album view.
- I still do not like the listing on the right side and then the see all album.
- The new grid is ok, but I liked the old way better.
- Did I mention I like the old Album view better.
- Did I mention the pop up strip is annoying...pop-up!
(*edited repetition - yes, we hear you! smile)

My Two cents... biggrin

Thanks!
Patrick

Thanks for the improved links to, and ability to easily copy the address of the "all sizes" of images. I use these links a lot and this will save me lots of time.cool

So as not to spoil the effect, I shall not add any negative feedback in this post.biggrin

We will continue to iterate on improvements to the strip, taking feedback from people, however, as I have said, we are not planning on reverting the page to the old look.

OK, it has taken me like forever to find the grid view of the albums. Nowhere on the photo page does it say "Grid View of Albums." By trial and error I clicked on "See All." Could you make this a little more clear.

Dottie

PS OK in my hysteria over not finding the Grid View--I didn't realize Greg's "See All" explanation to Wendy was actually about the Grid View.

Is there any possible way that there could be a search previous events box? I have around 250+ pages of past events, and sometimes I want to copy one from maybe a year ago, and it takes me forever to scroll through all those pages!

Thanks,
Julie.

Julie:

This is not a search but a work around I use to get around fast:

If you look on the Calendar page URL:

/calendar/

and then add the year-month you want to get to like:

/calendar/2009-09

that takes you directly to Sept 2009 page.

What I then do is bookmark each month and group the bookmarks by Year. So I can quickly bounce around the calendar to any month without having to page through manually.

I hope that helps.

Thanks!
Patrick

The new photo album does not work with IE 8. Another person on meetup posted that she made tech aware of the issue. But there is no mention of the new album not working with IE 8.

Personally I don't care if it is not mentioned but I just want it fixed. I still can't view the new albums in IE 8.

We are looking into bugs reported w/ IE8, but given IE8 only recently came out of beta (and is quite buggy right now), we have not officially added it to our supported browser list. As of right now, only 1.7% of all of our traffic is using IE8.
