Hi Greg
I do feel annoyed when I click to open a photo album and find the photo covered up. The pop-up is covering 1/3 of the photo. The submitters photo and two links cover up 1/10 of the photo. When I go to the photo album I want to see ... the photo. What would prevent you from lengthening the page by an inch and moving the thumb scroll and two links below, not covering, the photo? Thanks for all your hard work in getting these new features working. I hope you can improve the photo by showing ... all the photo. |

How about organizing our albums in the order that we want them to be instead of the order in which they are created? Another item I've asked about for the last five years. I offer my members a monthly group gallery that I'd like to keep at the top of the page but inevidently gets Overwhelmed by newer galleries. There should be a way to put the albums in the order that fits the group's needs. |

I've also noticed that I cannot go beyond the first five images on my iTouch.
There needs to be a forward and backward arrow to make this work since there is no cursor and your finger moves the entire page. |

The new photo section is great in general, especially the uploading section is a huge improvement
I hate that pop-up always covering part of the picture, it is impossible to just get rid of it and view the entire picture. I also hate that the other albums are in the lower right corner of the page and you can´t customize the order they are shown . I hope these problems are solved thank you! A fix that emcompasses the most requested features is fairly simple:
1: Make the scroll bar view of album photos go below the featured photo. 2. Squish the comments box smaller so there is more room on the right 3. Put more Past meetup photo albums, and use the space from where the comment boxes were. 4. The space to the right of the photo is not being well utilized. There are 4 links and a photo of the person who posted the photos. You don't need the persons photo who posted the photos, and just move the links above or below the photo. Then you have more room for recent meetup photo albums. One more suggestion is to put the date of the event next to the name of the event. This would be useful, in addition And I echo those who have said that the scroll bar should not block the photo you are viewing. |

I am very concerned about the fact that now everyone can comment on any photo. There are people on Meetup who will happily post all kinds of nasty stuff when they can. And the organizer won't be notified about it unless he / she posted the photo. And if the person who posted the photo has opted out of notifications or doesn't read them, even they wouldn't know about it.
Please remove the comment feature. Please. |

hi,
I noticed that some of the words I use are highlighted with advertising, if thats going to be the case then the advertisers should pay for using my group instead of me. How do I remove them- its annoying and not what I want on my group events calendar or anyway on my group pages that I PAY for being a member on Meetup. |

PLEASE HELP!!!!
Most of my members are "click-happy" camera users, but when they post pics to an album for an event, we are all unable to see any of the pics in full size, other than the pic used for the thumbnail of the album. We see the initial pic, then the pop-up screen appears when the pointer is over the pic, giving the impression that one can scroll through the different pics, but all the other pics remain "thumbnail" size. The accessability and viewing ability for each album has been greatly diminished, and it's making many of the members as well as myself very unhappy with the new layout. Is there any way we can simply have the old layout capability? People aren't wanting to post any pics any more because they can't see them in any size but "thumbnail", which is really disappointing. Please respond soon, as I can't use the "give 'em some time to work the bugs out" excuse any more........ Thanks, Skewb |

Hi Skewb:
Most of my members are "click-happy" camera users, but when they post pics to an album for an event, we are all unable to see any of the pics in full size, other than the pic used for the thumbnail of the album. Yikes! I was able to go through your albums and view them from here. What browsers and versions are you guys using? I'm also sending you a direct message to find out what's going on there too. Sorry that's happening ![]() Andrea |
