New members no longer show up in the What's New section even though it is checked off in Group Settings. www.rdutennis.com and www.rdudads.com

I encountered the same problem.

great new feature ! I love to add more topics and the ability to choose one that do not exist yet
THANK YOU! and congratulations

yes, the new members now are not shown, thank you for fixing this

thank you also for fixing the photo album pop up, I feel this is now much better than the photo album before all these upgrades. The new photo upload feature takes most of the clapping. THANK YOU again! - I still donīt like the fact that all albums are not directly shown there , you have to click on the all albums icon and see them in a new page. I would prefer if they are more readily available .

A suggestion: In lieu of a "generic" Meetup site is down will be back up shortly during planned maintenance, could Meetup HQ add the list of proposed fixes on the site maintenance page they expect to be put in after site maintenance? Some people (members) don't frequent the Meetup HQ boards as often as others (organizers).

Also, it would be good to add the site maintenance down start time to cover at least a few time zones - Pacific, Central, Eastern, etc.

It also seems that tweets are not consistently sent to your Twitter followers for planned site maintenance reminders - this comes in handy when members don't have access to Meetup.com from their work location.

Sigh, BustAGroove, you busted me on being inconsistent w/tweeting. Thank you for pointing that out and I will make sure to post them regularly from now on.

Thank you for the slideshow option. Now...how can I get THAT to be in replace of the "group photo" on the Home Page?

Funny ... BustAGroove and busted in the same sentence. Anyways, thanks Viv for the tweet and Meetup HQ blog updates for this latest release. Trying to look out for the people that are blocked from Meetup.com access @ work ;)

That wasn't intentional but when I saw it, I had to leave it in! But, thanks for mentioning the tweeting thing. I replied to your other tweet, we always post here in this forum a day before. Blog is usually the morning of.

Thank you for changing the "maybe" to an absent default. Very nice.

Photo features are better too. but I wanted to add that the new All Photos arrangements depicts the photos very small. There is a lot of room dedicated to who uploaded them and the date. I like seeing all the photos at once, however, I think they are too spread out top to bottom, I only can see 4 rows.

I would prefer BIGGER photos with SMALLER words about who loaded them up/when (or just get rid of those, its awfully repetitive).

Thanks again for your hard work and listening to the organizers.

Just reporting same issue - what's new does not show new memebers.

As for the topics - it's great that roll-outs are so quick! Just a couple weeks ago I told Derek Odegard at Web2Expo that there is no topic for the meetup I want to start - he assured me that I can register it and topic creation is close to release ;)

Now everyone can enjoy Web Performance anywhere in the world ;)

Will there be any topic-promoting functionality where people will be able to passively discover new topics that they might be interested in?

Thanks again for this new feature!

Sergey
