New members are now showing up.
But I think there should be an option of what goes on the What's New. I would like to see all greetings removed from the What's New. |

Great fixes to the photos, thanks.
Now if you could just make it so the most recently "Updated" albums photos are the first thing you see when you enter the photos section, instead of the most recently "created".Or better yet, give the organizer a way to set up the photos either way. ![]() Oh yeah, one more minor thing...set the popup bar in the down position by default, from what ive read of these posts, few people like it anyway. Thanks again, Dennis |

New members are now showing up.Then ask your organiser to make it so. It is already an option, but only for organisers. Len Member of: Member of: |

I was able to create the topics Rationalism and Secularism for our regular atheist group. So I'm happy about that.
But when I tried to create the topic Dating for our atheist dating group, I wasn't allowed to make that a topic. And yet the alternatives it allows me to choose from include Polyamory and Wingman. Not that there's anything wrong with that. In fact even though our members are generally "singles," I wouldn't ban people from the group just because they were in an open relationship, looking for a third partner, or whatever, as long as they're honest about that and well-behaved members of the group. For that reason, Dating would rank higher than Singles as a descriptor for the group. The group's theme isn't really about being single rather than married, but about meeting other non-theists for dating purposes. In fact, when I first started the group I was disappointed that there wasn't a Dating category and that the closest thing was Singles. But my point is that there are a lot of racy Meetup topics to choose from, so why won't the system allow plain old Dating? It doesn't appear to be a matter of prudishness. I'm guessing that this is just a bug in the system that allows creation of topics in some groups but not others, unrelated to the particular topics created. Used the same computer, same browser, etc. when editing topics for both groups. |

Thank you for changing the pop-up strip. It is no longer annoying. I like the hide button. The new way is much much better. The link to the album page is much better too. The sideshow is a cool plus. Very cool on the new topics and added more thank you!
We should have a way to turn off comment on photo's or come up with a way to police them or monitor them. We have not had abuse but we do not want to go there either. Great job guys and gals! Thanks for all your hard work! Kudos! Patrick |

I am in total agreement with what Patrick has said. The hide button is an improvement, along with the slideshow option. The pop-up was making me dizzy.

The option to hide the pop-up is a welcome surprise. Thank you. I still feel it hides the photo, which is a no-no and it should be hidden, as the default, and give viewers the option to raise it and block the photos. An alternative would be to do what Adobe does in their gallery creation software. Place the pop-up permanently below the image. Then you don't need to have button to hide it and it does not block a portion of the photo. Thanks again for listening and fixing this major glitch.

Okay, so since I was able to create new topics in our regular atheist group (Rationalism, Secularism), but not in the dating group (Dating), I thought I could work around that by creating the topic Dating in the regular atheist group, adding the topic in the dating group, then deleting the topic in the regular atheist group.
Can't do it. So this isn't a situation where topics can be created in some groups but not others, but something else is going on. Does the word "dating" have some kind of sicko pervert meaning in the internet world that I'm not aware of, which would make it a prohibited topic? Or is there a limit of 2 new topics created for each organizer account? |

I am wondering why on the front page, the meetups we have attended no longer say "Rate it" underneath them after we attended (but before we rated it). Why was this removed? Can we please have it returned (or optional so I can turn it back on.) Thanks, meetup. |
