Weekly Release for April 15, 2009

I am wondering why on the front page, the meetups we have attended no longer say "Rate it" underneath them after we attended (but before we rated it).

Why was this removed? Can we please have it returned (or optional so I can turn it back on.) Thanks, meetup.

I still have "Rate it" under the events I attended. (After attending, but before rating.)

I no longer have the Rate It link under my recent meetups as well. Neither does my wife, who is a member. It is definitely missed.

I'm looking into finding out what's happening with the term 'Dating' from here. Sorry for the delay! With regards to the 'Rate it now' links - I just noticed it missing on my Meetup as well. Yikes.

Thanks, Andrea. I also noticed my maps are no longer working. When I click a map (starting at an event listing), it just shows a giant map of the entire west coast with a little dot by Vancouver. Then you have to go to "Get Directions" to find the actual location. This started happening in the past week.

Kudos on the changes to the photo albums! I am diggin' the slideshows and the "Hide Toolbar" option. Thanks for a nice surprise!!!

I would also like it (as someone above suggested) to please make the albums in "most recently updated order," so I can tell where the new photos are.

Oh, from group home? I never even noticed they were on there. I thought you guys were talking about the "Rate It" links on the event pages. And since I used those to rate the last two events instead of rating through the emails, I thought you were all trippin'.

Hi Nestor,
New topics aren't automatically assigned categories and we decided to not make categorization a part of the new topic create process because category assignment in user testing proved to be subjective and confusing. However, we are working on ways to expose newly created topics on the site.
