Great feature. One thing I would like to see is a "go live" date, so the meetup is published w/o our help at a certain time. I think the process is still too manual. Thanks, Dave. We've thought about doing this, and it's still on the table for possibly doing in the future. |

the only big thing that I feel is missing here is a PREVIEW button, that would allow you to see how the event draft looks like IF published, but before publishing!
this is important when you use bbcode to add photos, links, etc etc |

Great new feature!! Appreciate your hard work!
![]() As stated previously, however, a "go live" function and a PREVIEW button are sorely needed to make this a tool worth using. So far, it just seems a step above the copy function. Thanks, ~Pamela~ |

Have used it three times now... first two times without incident but I just found a bug...
Here's the exact steps I went through in case the order matters. Filled in most of the event details, tried to save the draft received an error that I didn't have refund info included for Amazon pymnt... went back and filled that in but before saving again I tried to create a new location and save it but got another error that the address couldn't be validated. I fixed the address error and tried to save it again... took me to the page to merge my location with an already existing location that matched 100% with mine. I merged it and got the following (keep in mind I did not publish, I saved to a draft) which understandably scared me a lil' since I'm not ready to publish this: ![]() Nothing fancy in the URL, just http://www.midatlanti... So I right clicked and opened "Or, go straight to this Meetup's page" in a new tab and it took me to: ![]() With http://www.meetup.com... Just to see what would happen, with the original tab still opened, I clicked on Email Your Meetup Group and indeed it takes me to: ![]() So, it's NOT really on my calendar, it's still in my draft tabs for real, for real, but for fake, 'the platform' seems to think I should be announcing the event prematurely. ![]() |

Thanks for all the detailed info, Amy. We're going to look into it now.

the draft shows a reduced version of the description, with a link that says READ MORE...
if you click on that, you actually donīt get to read more, the EDIT screen opens canīt preview or read more |

the draft shows a reduced version of the description, with a link that says READ MORE... I see what you mean, Nestor. We'll look into that. |

Would it be possible to create a canonical list of updates so that we can read about changes and new functions in one central place, rather than having to browse a bunch of different threads?
That could be as simple as a pinned read-only thread with the highlights listed according to date. For many organisers, I believe that would actually be a great help in understanding "what's new". |
