Great feature! Much more useful in Meetup scenario then in other networks.

I wonder if this can be somehow tied into RSVP management for organizers.

This new setup doesn't make it easier. it's a new learning curve that I will have to get used to and the interface isn't very good. first thing I want to see is where is my groups not other people that are joining the groups.

second there's no way to customize anything to make it easier for you.

whoever designed this page has no sense of priority or organization.

I wanted to post a suggestion to add a search function on the "past meetups" page. We often repeat events and have to go back page by page to find the event and then copy it to the new date. It's easier than trying to redo the whole event because we put a lot of research into our event listings. A search (like on the discussion page) to bring up the events would be SO GREAT!

Although I love the idea of tagging photos, I absolutely refuse to do it anymore because of how, every time I do it, the "tagee" receives an e-mail. Please disable this feature and I'll start using it again. I know that members can change their settings to not accept such e-mails but that really is too much to ask them to do.

I'm sorry for any trouble. If the member doesn't want to receive those emails, they will need to adjust those settings in their Membership and Communications section. I'm afraid this is the only option at this time.

Are your members having difficulty making these adjustments?

Thanks for your idea! I encourage you to add your suggestion as to how you'd like to see it work in the Suggestions Forum. Perhaps this thread is specifically what you are looking to do?

I don't like the new set up. It's not as easy to navigate as it was before, it's more of a hassle to go through all the events currently scheduled by the groups I'm a member of. Also, I really don't need to know or want to see each time some member RSVPs to an event! Some of the groups I'm a member of have over a 1000 members, so this is a completely useless feature - I'd rather see more of my own events listed in this space than that.

What Meetup desperately needs is a Private Message function, so far everybody and his brother(not even members) can stalk your greetings from other individuals. Very simple, it doesn't make sense at all not to have that....Unless I'm missing something.
