I haven't been able to find the "member of Meetup since ______" note on profiles.

Meetup in general, not of a specific group.

Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!biggrin

Hey Ali,

You can find the 'member of Meetup since' date on a member's sitewide profile. For example, click on my photo to the left of this post and you'll get to mine here:

www.meetup.com/members/8606045/

Thanks, when a member applies to join my group, I can't seem to find the date.

How do I go about finding their general profile?

Thanks :)

The fastest way to get to their sitewide profile would be to change the URL itself. So you'd click on the pending member, which would bring you to their (not yet 'live') group profile page. The URL for that page would look something like this:

www.meetup.com/groupname/members/8606045/

To get to that member's sitewide profile, you'd simply remove the "groupname" portion of the URL. So it would look like this:

www.meetup.com/members/8606045/

Would that work?

if this was removed from the memberīs group profile, why isnīt there a LINK to the meetup profile, so we can see that information?

this is important information about a member that now we all have to find by retyping the url - how about adding a link to it from the memberīs group profile?

if the group has itīs own url, you have to retype all

another case of a feature removed, without notification... and now a cumbersome work-around to get the needed information.

>sigh<

Sorry about any surprises, guys. Another way to get there directly is by clicking on "See my friends." That brings you to the individual's sitewide profile.

When you click on a member from the Pending Members list, it will bring you to their not-yet-live group profile. The 'See my friends' link is on there.

How about just reinstating this feature, so that we do NOT have to do a work-around? smilewinkconfused

Thanks,
