THE SWIM All ages and abilities welcome… we have people with limited swimming experience as well as nationally ranked swimmers in our group! Everyone swims at his or her own pace. There are no coaches and this is not a swim team so no pressure; just a group of people that share a love for swimming… particularly open water swimming :) There are no fees to belong to this group! Join us every Saturday in front of the guard tower at Spanish River Blvd and A1A (Tower 20) between 4:00-4:15pm (in the water no later than 4:30). We swim approximately 1-2 miles depending on how ambitious you are feeling, up to 100 yards out and parallel to the beach so taking a rest or shortening your swim is not a problem. WHAT TO BRING Suit, towel, goggles, water/ drink, sunscreen and a positive attitude! PARKING Parking is free on Spanish River Blvd if you can find a spot. You can park in Spanish River Park for a daily rate of $18 on the weekends. If you're in for the long haul you would be better off purchasing an annual pass for $45 and it is good for Spanish River and Red Reef.
