The AD/HD Leader's Edge
Keep Your Creative Edge -
Manage Your AD/HD
Anywhere between 10 to 17 million adults in America have ADD/AD/HD. Or, as the Wall Street Journal wrote a while back, “The symptoms of adult attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder seem to describe half the people in New York City: restlessness, impatience, impulsive, procrastination, chronic lateness, and difficulty getting organized, focusing and finishing tasks.” (1)
And that probably applies to Orlando and environs, too, wouldn't you say?

• Get fresh ideas from peers, try out new strategies, form success habits of mind and body
• Learn your way around the mercurial traits
• Acknowledge the great gifts of your mind set
What’s the format?
We begin each evening with brief intros. We set a framework for a lively discussion and exercises.
DISCLAIMER: This Meet Up is NOT for discussing and problem-solving about your AD/HD children and their challenges at school. It is for us to talk about our own adult challenges and solutions. There are very many places in Orlando that you can go to for help for your AD/HD child. If you are having difficulty finding them, I can refer you to some of my colleagues who specialize in children & school issues (email me at firstname.lastname@example.org). That being said, if you are a professional and are struggling with the traits of the AD/HDer, and have an AD/HD child, then that IS one of your challenges. A big one. And that’s something to deal with here. Thanks for your understanding in this.
Wine and Cheese will be served - of course.
