This is a really difficult question and can be mood dependent. I can't narrow it down to one so a few are Jasper Jones & Rhubarb, Illusions, Where the Wild Things Are & Dr Seuss' "Oh The Places You'll Go"
Favourite author comes from the books I have enjoyed the most so Craig Silvey & Dr Seuss sit at the top of my list. Dr Seuss because at different points in my life his books left a mark and made a real difference.
Caffeine by day/alcohol by night - something romantic about sitting in a cafe with a coffee reading a book and watching the world float past, whereas it is perfect to enjoy a cocktail with friends in a funky little bar by night.
I enjoy reading literature and like the opportunity to discuss it. Currently I am in a bookclub through Mill Point Book Cafe but wanted to try something new.
One of the only bookclubs in the area, and a bookclub were the focus is discussing the books we read as a group. There is a real mix of people that will make for interesting perspectives on topics. The first two books selected are varied in style and are not overwhelming in length so people could manage to read them in the first two months even with busy lives.
