I'm Sally. I love discussing good fiction and mysteries and being introduced to quality non-fiction. I just moved to ABQ from Portland, OR (where I belonged to 4 book groups). I'm a retired literature professor (taught 27 years in Kentucky).
You meet others who love to read and discuss ideas which the reading arouses. Being new to ABQ, I am so GLAD to have met Kristine Olson, our organizer, Kristin, and now Jesus. You will enjoy discussing a fine book with other perceptive (and well-educated) readers. Coming up are DRESS YOUR FAMILY IN CORDORY AND DENIM by humorous essayist David Sedaris; MORAL DISORDER by Margaret Atwood and in later months probably one by American Indian author Sherman Alexie or a classic by Kurt Vonnegut. New members Callista, Carolyn, and Jasmine also had suggestions for coming months.
