Readers...I encourage you to bring a few books or periodicals from your personal libraries to our meeting. Let's enjoy some intellectual cross-pollination in addition to a thoughtful discussion on our subject.

I read the book last month.. but had to work unexpectedly the day of the club meeting. At least I read it this time! lol.. I have started the Twain book and expect to make it, so far it's a fun read. Thanks for organizing the club, I have enjoyed everything but Hawthorne thus far. Him and Hemingway have made it into my never read anything by that author again pile.. we all have our tastes and thankfully they are varied. :) I look forward to eventually reading the book AND making it to a discussion!

Hey everyone, I haven't forgotten about you all. I even read half of the last book (The Great Crash). I just don't seem to have much time to read this summer, and I'm usually busy doing outside activities. I plan to start up with you all again when the weather turns cold.
