If I would just have to name one, I would have to say Maya Angelou. Her books inspire me so much! And what a wonderful poet she is. I am reminded of "On The Pulse of the Morning", which is the poem she created for the President's Clinton's Inaugural speech.
My fun is limited by my physical disabilities, but I manage. I love everything there is about computers and was a computer instructor and was forced to semi-retire, but I still love reading and learning about new technology. I think it is fascinating, and it is almost like an addiction to me. I love working in the yard, reading has to be right up there at the top. I love movies, but now I don't know if it's better to see the movie or read the book first. Best of all, I love people and learning about them because everyone is so unique.
My name is Micheline "Micki" Zagurski. I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I have always loved reading and remember the most exciting times for me was when I could visit the local library and take home all those books and read to my heart's concent.
I believe I had read 17 or 18 books here, and I have not been to one bad meeting. I am so pleased to be a part of this group.
