Hey everyone it is hard to believe but we are coming to the end of another great year at the Aurora Book Club Meetup.  Due to the busy schedules in both November and December I have made some changes to our November 27th (Cancelled) and December (Changed to December 11th) Meetup. 

In November we were scheduled to discuss the "Dress Lodger" which will be discussed at our holiday party.  So please mark your calenders to come join us for the HOLIDAY PARTY December 11, 2012 at 7pm.  Please bring some holiday cheer (wine/champagne/or beverage of your choice and/or bring some holiday treats).

    Not sure if my msg posted for entire group-sent to Julia.Father gravely ill-can't come last minute.Suggestions for 2013: Hruki Murakami: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle(1997) & in Recommended his "Norwegian Wood.My 25 yr old son impressed by 2012 memoir by Dan Rather: "Rather Outspoken:My Life in the News". Prized candid journalist describing our history factually & candidly.Including issue of "free speech" during the Bush era when fired from CBS.Best to all.C U in 2013.

      Julia - i had planned to come, but life is catching up with me and i find myself behind on work, shopping, baking nad helpingwith church and school. As much as i hate to say this, i think i will have to take a pass tonight. When picking books for the new year, might i suggest "A Fine Balance" by ROhinton Mistry! IN ny event, i will see you with bells on in JAnuary! MErry CHristmas!
