Julia, my furnace has broken. i am waiting for a call from the service dept. Might not make the meeting tonite; which would be a bummer because I read all 660 pages of Catherine the Great, and would miss the enjoyable discussion too. Rats!

Julia, my sister came out of surgery well, but I am still helping her post-surgery. Will have to join you next month. I did read "A Christmas Carol". Very thought provoking. Glad that I read it.
