I started Good food, fine wine and great books because all the other book clubs that I've attended did not eat! We meet roughly about once a month to discuss a book over dinner. I try to match the restaurant to the book. We discussed Middlesex over Greek fare in the Village. We met at a Vegetarian restaurant to discuss a book in which the main character was a vegan.  If you love to read and love to eat, join us. I hate to start charging members to attend a meetup. So please, read below and help us keep this group free and open to all. Thanks. No shows (without a courtesy e-mail) will be removed as will those with a pattern of canceling at the last minute.
