The Sense of an Ending is a relatively short book, but had an outsized impact on our group! The range of discussion topics this selection sparked was very broad, including the motives and morality of the protagonist. The author sprinkled his story with philosophical and existential observations that also caught our attention.
We have set our meeting dates and book selections through March 2014. Please click on the "About us" button on the home page for that information. Also, thumbnail sketches of the upcoming books can be found under the Pages tab.
Our March selection is the 1924 classic "A Passage to India," and is characterized as the one indisputable masterpiece coming out of Britain's 300-year relationship with the Indian subcontinent.
See you March 21st!
