Re: [bookclub-1502] Our book club

Hello Steve and Westchester Weekend Book Group!

I wanted to contact you all to suggest a possible book for future discussion. My sister and I started an independent publishing company last year and our first title, Memoirs of Meanness, is going to release in April. It's a fantastic collection of fiction and non-fiction on the subject of being mean - and how mean behavior evolves as we go from childhood to adulthood. It comes with a list of discussion questions at the back and is great for book groups. Everyone can relate to these stories as everyone, at some point, has either been mean or been someone else's target.

If you'd be interested in considering this title, I'd be glad to send along flyers or any other information about Memoirs to help you vote on whether or not to use it. Also know that I'd give the group an excellent discount ont he books and would be willing to look into attending the meeting or having some of the other contributors attend the meeting to add to the discussion, if that appeals to you.

Thanks so much! Hope to hear from you all soon!

In order to save our bookclub from iminent demise I have volunteered to take the organizational role. I look forward to facilitating our meetings and agendas. I believe the last book chosen by the group was Water for Elephants, so lets proceed with that. As far as a date is concerned lets go for Sunday, February 1 at 5:30 PM. I will let you know the location soon. It will be somewhere in the central Westchester area. In the future I look forward to all of these decisions being made by consensus. Hope to see you on the 1st.
Steve
