Da Chen sold his memoir to Random House for $400,000 and became a publishing sensation. His young adult fantasy was optioned by Warner Brothers. *Saturday, Oct 2: Elements of a Memoir Master Class will touch on: Voice & Prose Style, Narrative Sequences, Dialogue, Theme/Story/Scene Building, Facts vs. Truth, Memory vs. History

*Sunday, Oct 3: Morning writing exercises & afternoon workshop critique of 10-page writing samples submitted by attendees one week prior to class. First 25 samples will be critiqued during the workshop. The rest will be critiqued with handwritten notes and mailed back after the workshop.
