Starting October: Experimenting with two different days for One Drink Minimum Book Club
Tuesday, September 6, 2011 12:45 PM
After receiving a lot of emails from many members about unavailability to attend the book club meetings on a Monday night, I am going to experiment with hosting two meetups for the same book on different days of the week.
Starting with October's book, we are going to keep the regularly scheduled Monday meetup, and I am going to add a Wednesday night during the same week to accommodate people who couldn't make it on Mondays. Hopefully this will allow more of you to attend the night that works better for you, and will keep the numbers down to a manageable discussion size for both days. As you RSVP, make sure you RSVP for the night that you prefer to attend, so that we can get a reasonable estimate of how many people we will have!
If this ends up getting unwieldy, or if there ends up being insufficient interest to support two separate nights, we may go back to one night a month. And as always, the RSVPs will open up one month in advance of the meetup date, but in this case, the RSVP for both the Monday and Wednesday date will open up at the same time.
Thanks for your patience as we try to work this out! Happy reading!
