By the way, fellow book enthusiasts.

I saw "Atlas Shrugged: Part 1" in the theaters yesterday.

I am pleased to report that changes were minimal and were not impactful. The spirit of the movies is very close to the book. As a bonus, the part I liked most about the book, the visuals, was captured perfectly in the movie!

This movie does not include any A-list actors or directors but it does not suffer from B-movie flaws. This is a great production. Catch it while you can! I saw it at Harkins Superstition 25.
