I think when you look up avid reader in the dictionary - well there I am.
Anywhere, whenever I get the chance. I prefer a nice quiet spot with some classical music and a glass of wine but that rarely happens in my house. Large purses were made for those of us who know a book will kill those minutes waiting!
I'm not sure of the title but I am sure it was some of the Little Golden Books. I really remember best all the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys. Read all I could get my hands on. And a little pink book called Daisy - with a black cat on the cover.
Many - and many that since joining a discussion group I never would have read on my own. For the opinions of others one should be eternally grateful.
Great night out, everyone goes away with a little laughter and a lot of fun!
I have been in Hamilton a year now and have been looking for a book club to join. I am very happy to come out on September 17th. I am going to start The Ava Lee selection this week - I look forward to it.
I wanted to thank you for all you do make this book club so enjoyable. Thanks for the work you did to make last night (La Luna) a fun time. Thanks for the chocolate bar. Ben ate his on the way home and of course I had to help him :). Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Hi Karen. My name is Melissa, and although I haven't made it out yet, I would very much like to stay as a member. I am hoping ot become more active! Thank you!
“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life,
in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful implanted in the human soul.”
- Johann Wolfgang Goethe
