Just how well can you ever know the person you love? This is the question that Nick Dunne must ask himself on the morning of his fifth wedding anniversary when his wife Amy suddenly disappears. The police immediately suspect Nick. Amy's friends reveal that she was afraid of him, that she kept secrets from him. He swears it isn't true. A police examination of his computer shows strange searches. He says they aren't his. And then there are the persistent calls on his mobile phone. So what really did happen to Nick's beautiful wife? And what was in that half-wrapped box left so casually on their marital bed? In this novel, marriage truly is the art of war...

Thanks, Sue. I'm starting to feel better, going back to work on Monday, so I should be able to make it to the April meeting. Glad most of you enjoyed the book, I was really sorry to miss the discussion, I thought it would bring up a lot of interesting thoughts and ideas. See you all in a couple of weeks!

Thanks to all who turned out for 'Gone Girl' and to all those who couldn't make it but were good enough to let us know. We had a really good discussion about the book and related subjects. You don't have to worry Sarah - most of us enjoyed the book and we'll be pleased to see you for April's meeting if you can make it (hoping that your back is now a lot better). Hope to see you all soon. Sue

I'm so sorry to continue the unfortunate tradition of recommending a book and then not showing up to defend it, but I've done something to a disc in my neck and have been laid up for a couple of weeks. I was hoping to rally for tonight's meeting, but that's not going to happen. Have a good night, and I hope you all enjoyed the book!

Read this on holiday and loved it- it's one of those books you read and just want to talk about (or I do, anyway). Really looking forward to this one!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
