Introduction

It is very interesting to get other people's thoughts and perspectives on the stories books tell. Discussion can make the stories come alive. One can learn so much from one book.

What is the best book you have read in the last year and why?

One of my favorites is "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed. Another is "The Winter Sea" by Susanna Kearsley. "Wild" for me was truly sharing a life journey as you were walking with the author. "The Winter Sea" combines Scottish history along with a romance - mesmerizing - mingling the past with the present.

    Hi Toni,
The book I mentioned for your review at our meeting today is The Shoemakers Wife by Adriana Trigiana. Don't know if it would be good for our Club….just a thought. Really enjoyed the meeting.
