Hi Lorena, In August's meeting, we talked about continuing with Intuition Pumps for the 9/15 meeting, so I'm assuming we will be.

Here is Richard Dawkins' 1991 essay, "Viruses of the Mind":
    http://vserver1.cscs.lsa.umich.edu/~crshalizi/Dawkins/viruses-of-the-mind.html
He begins by quoting Dennett's CONSCIOUSNESS EXPLAINED on memes.

Also, Susan Blackmore, who literally wrote the book on memes, will be the guest on Philosophy Talk on Sunday morning, August 25, 10-11 a.m. on KALW 91.7 FM. (You can also listen live through your computer.) All indications are that this will not be pre-recorded but will be a live broadcast, and they'll take phone calls.
