The location of this meetup will be Espresso Roma on Hopkins St in Berkeley.

For this meetup we will be discussing the remainder of Intuition Pumps And Other Tools for Thinking, by Daniel Dennett (ISBN-10:[masked]).

We can also share thoughts & ideas about various other books we have read in the field of cognitive science and other related disciplines (such as evolutionary psychology or neuroscience).

I look forward to meeting and discussing cognitive science with you!

    Hello Everyone
During our meeting this past Sunday I suggested we read that 2004 article by Thomas Insel that reviews the history of social neuroscience and the "social brain". It turns out that there is a good chance I won't be able to make our October meeting . I'm fine if everyone still agrees to go with the article, but since there's a good chance I won't be there to discuss it, I'll leave it up to Dana and to the group input whether the article should remain as part of our reading for next month, or whether you all decide to postpone it (or can it...)

Hey Julio and the group - for those who didn't make it, how can we get to the articles?

Was sad to have missed this! Had people in town and while I thought brining them would be fun, they had other ideas. Until the next one!

IGNORANCE How It Drives Science by Stuart Firestein has a lot of suggested readings in the back and many of them look very good!
