Nov. 7-8: Wonderfest Bay Area Festival of Science

Wonderfest 2009, the San Francisco Bay Area Festival of Science, a
FREE event, will take place this year on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Stanford
and on Sunday, Nov. 8, at UC Berkeley.

I am announcing this early because lately our group has been meeting
on the second Sunday of the month.

Judging from previous conversations in our group, the following
session may be of particular interest (Sunday, Nov. 8, in Berkeley):
"Does Darwin Illuminate Emotion & Spirituality?"
* Paul Ekman, Professor of Psychology, UC San Francisco
* Dacher Keltner, Professor of Psychology, UC Berkeley

See the website for the other sessions:
A timetable for each day is not up yet.

I have been to some of these Wonderfests before, and have been very
impressed by the quality of the questions that people ask the speakers.
