I just wanted to send out an email to everyone to touch base with the group!
As you all may or may not know... I'm the new organizer of the group having taken over for Nick who moved away...
As of late I've been sent quite a few emails asking how a book club works... I'd like to address these questions in this newsletter.
* As a rule of thumb it is beneficial to the flow of the conversation if you've read the book prior to coming to the meeting. With that said, please don't feel like you shouldn't come to the discussion if you've not finished the book... by all means, please come & discuss.
* Please be respectful of everyone's opinions & comments.
* Please patronize the businesses that allow us to meet in their establishments.
A bit of new business: We've a new branch up north of Boston... so if you know of fellow book lovers that cant make it to any of our current meetings b/c they live too far north, then please let them know we can now accomdate their love of books!!!!!
