More organizers for our bookclub!

Hey Guys!

So check out the changes on our About page, where we've listed our organizers and the towns in which they'll be meeting. We've added Ankita for Boston proper, and Patrick for Brookline since I last plagued your inbox, and more may be coming. Feel free to click on our names in blue under the "Organized by" section of the Bookclub page to contact us directly with ideas for places you'd like to meet and books you'd like to be reading.

Jennie, in fact, has already established a poll looking for votes on where to meet...over ice cream, or coffee...check it out by clicking on the blue "Where should the Allston/Brighton bookclub be held" line from the poll page here:

--this page is also easily accessible by clicking on the polls icon off our main page

It's hard to plan meetings and pick books without suggestions from the crowd (heh, and you don't necessarily want us choosing all your selections off our bedside tables...the veterinary journal that's sitting on mine is a huge snoozefest!) so please provide input and feedback to your organizers. This is totally volunteer and the more places and books we have to chose from, the easier it is for us to get these groups reading and conversing.

The offer still stands to get your name in that coveted Asst. Organizer spot so that you too can be in charge of the reading material of the masses....Bwah hah hah, the power!!!

This plea extends to my Cambridge readers as well. We've done a good job of picking the sweet books off our polls and it's probably about time to start from scratch again. The books that remain don't have the greatest showing of interest, so, plan on bringing your lists of wanna reads to our meeting on the 9th, or, if you can't make it, send them to me via email and I'll get their synopses up on the blogspot. Resend any that haven't been posted, as I'd like to know if the interest to read still exists (heh, for my saved emails from october:-)

Currently the next one vote wise is Wicked, and while I imagine most of us have read it, it seems a bit dated. See, feedback is so necessary!! Without it, we'll be picking our way through the selections listed in poll one (also accessible off that poll page) and ultimately poll three.

Vote, email and contact us!

um, please :-)
