Glad you had a great turn out tonight...wish I could have been there!!! I didn't really enjoy the book that much either...kind of slow moving with information overload.
One suggestion of another venue might be the Urbandale Library. They have meeting rooms but not sure how available they would be. Here is the link if you want to check into it further.

Thanks to everyone who came to the meetup tonight. It was great talking with everyone - even though most of us didn't enjoy the book very much. We had our biggest group so far! It is great that we keep growing - although we may be outgrowing Panera Bread. I will start looking for bigger venues. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
We chose the book for October. It is "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, who also wrote "No Country for Old Men" and "All the Pretty Horses." It comes highly recommended. The movie version comes out in November, so we can go and see how the movie compares to the book.
Let me know your ideas for other places to hold the meetup. Talk with you soon!
