I have a hard time finding anyone to talk about books with. Reading is one of my primary entertainments, non-fiction is my first choice. History and science are top of the list. My few friends seldom read what I do, even when I give them the book.
Love it. Always changing with a solid core of regulars.
Hi Richard, It was fun to hike with you yesterday. Thanks for the enlightening conversation & hope to see you at a future event!
Hey Richard Welcome to Outdoor and Snow Lovers! Seems like a long time since - Good to see you brought your camera with also ;)
Wow--your shots were so much fun to look at--thanks for sharing !
Hi, Richard. You mentioned last month that you'd be able to give me a ride to the Dec meeting at Cid's house. Are we still on for that? I live at 152 SE Bedford Street in the Prospect Park area of Minneapolis. Let me know if you need more directions, and what time you want to pick me up. Thanks for the ride! I appreciate it.
I can really identify. I am a voracious reader, and often find other kindred souls at the Starbucks in Highland.
Recommend, Empire of Illusion by Chris Hedges; My Name is Chellis and I Am in Recovery from Western Civilizaiton, and Pursuit of Lonliness by Philip Slater and last but not least Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by Perkins. Would love some recommendations from you.
