I'll be there, Cid.  DO NOT blame yourself; the cool thing is that you figured this out. - IG

Everyone,

Well, I finally did it, Sept's book is out-of-print and hard to find. I did source it through B&N as used, but assuming that members are also having trouble. I search rather diligently for book choices, and when we picked it, it was buyable through Amazon, and with a pub date in 2001, did not think availability an issue. So my solution is to add another book. Beatrix Potter: a Life in Nature by Linda Lear, is readily available through Amazon, B&N, and my library has a copy. Why I did not offer this one up back then, heaven only knows.....

So, whoever did find the Lane book and for those of you who get the Lear book, we still can discuss the life of Beatrix Potter (who actually lived a very interesting, full life beyond her writing, with some tragedy too). We can compare book styles as well. Dang, I was doing pretty good there. Also apologies for not realizing this sooner.

RSVP - thanks to those who have already done so. Those who have not - if you could send a yes or maybe, very helpful. And to those who attend regularly - a "no" RSVP is really great if you are not planning on coming. Thank you!!

Enjoy the last bits of summer. I am maximizing the outdoor time right now, summer is over way too soon for me. Happy reading!
