Discussion of "Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex"

Let's get together to discuss Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex!

Author Mary Roach has made a name for herself exploring the curiosities of human cadavers, the afterlife, the extremities of space, and soon, the inner workings of the human body. Let's take a look at her investigation into the world of sex. It's everything you didn't know you wanted to know about sex--and more. From unique interpretations of "The Princess and the Pea" to monkey sex athletes (??) to what Alfred Kinsey was really up to, with her typical flair for humor and surprise, Roach is sure to titillate as much as educate us on the weird and wacky science of sex.

You can find out more about the book here and here. Hope to see you there!

Sexy and revealing! At times, steamy and.....oh, wait. That was the movie I saw later on.
Okay, the discussion was frank and casual.

Oh, this book is killing me! Enough already. I don't think I can make myself read another page. Sorry girls! I do hope to hear why you love it.

Jennie - I just found out about your group. I don't have time to read the book. How often do you meet? What is the next book? I look forward to hearing from you. Lynne Hinnerscheetz

I got this book on CD...what fun to listen to while do mundane household chores. Never thought about listening to Masters and Johnson's research while folding towels could be so enjoyable.
Is anyone else having unusual dreams I wonder???

Am picking up my copy today at the Library. Can't wait to get started on this book. Jen has never steered us wrong-ever pick is a winner and this one proves to be enlightening in ways that I haven't even
begun to imagine. Looking forward to expanding my knowledge and who knows? May have to have a cigarrette after reading.
