Come join us in April to discuss Chad Harbach's bestseller The Art of Fielding.

After an ordinary throw turns disastrous for baseball star Henry, five peoples' fates hang in the balance. They fight against crippling self-doubt, the challenge of starting over from scratch, ill-advised love affairs, and questions of how one should spend one's life.

Harbach's novel is a character-driven foray into the lives of those wondering who and what to care about and was an Amazon best book of the month for September 2011. Read more about it here.

Sarah, does that mean you didn't like it? I think this meeting might
be as interesting as it was for Broken Harbor! See you Tuesday.

I loved his writing, but the more the story went on, the more I skimmed and couldn't wait to finish the darn thing. I will add the disclaimer that I know nothing about baseball, which may have worked against me! :)

I have tickets to the Flyers game this night, though I'd probably be better off at book club with the way they've been playing this season.
