I can narrow it down to these: Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell; The Egyptologist by Arthur Phillips; Brave New World; and Wonderboys by Michael Chabon.
Oryx and Crake, by Margaret Atwood. It's Margaret Atwood! What could go wrong? Quite a lot, apparently. I was also disappointed that I wasn't bowled over by David Sedaris' stuff, based on all his hype.
I have a love/hate relationship with Catcher in the Rye. :-)
Watership Down by Richard Adams.
I started this group hoping to find a bunch of cool, smart people to talk books with. I have, and that makes me happy. :)
Nice, smart, open-minded people. I'm glad we've come together as a group.
