Would you like a local author to be a guest speaker at one of our Meetings?

Leslie Tall Manning is a local author and has written the book called GaGa. It looks entertaining. She has contacted me and asked if we would like to read the book, and have her attend a meeting to discuss the book. I said I would check with the group. So take a look at the book and VOTE! Thanks

Do you want to read Cutting for Stone

It looks like a good book, but it is 667 pages long. I don't want to assume that members will read a book this long. So please take a moment to vote...thanks

Do you want to read Book of Mercy for July's meeting?

It is a sometimes funny book concerning the subject of book censorship, mainly in schools. The heroine is an adult who cannot read due to dyslexia, but takes on the task of fighting against censorship. It's only 242 pages, and has a kindle price of $4.00. I thought it might make a light summer read a month after reading The Book Seller of Kabul. So, please vote!

What do you want to read (there are only six choices)

I know some of the books have more than 400 pages, but I just let it go in the name of offering variety. I've uploaded a file which has the descriptions of all the books so you don't have to spend a lot of time searching for them. Thanks for participating.
