Tongue & Groove Readings at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood

About three years ago, I stumbled across "Tongue & Groove", an informal series of readings by contemporary authors and poets hosted by Conrad Romo in and around Hollywood. Strictly Classics members who indulge in contemporary literature, or even those like myself who generally avoid it altogether, might enjoy hearing published writers reading from their own works in an informal setting. Not all of Conrad's guests appeal to me, though some are quite good, but in almost every instance I find it worthwhile to experience the personality behind the words.

For details read the posting from Conrad below. Admission is $6. This is not an official meetup--i.e., I'm not hosting, be prepared to fend for yourself.
