Discuss books on Shikari Literature

The Jungles have thrilled and fascinated a lot of us as children....and some of us even as adults. What is it about a campfire on a starlit night with tales about wild cats, bears and elephants that catches our fancy? Perhaps it is the danger lurking in these stories? Maybe it is the chase that always ends in triumph ? Or maybe its is the element of hyperbole that is inevitable in all stories of bravado? Let's find out when we meet to discuss Shikari Literature. Some writers to consider: Rudyard Kippling (Jungle Book), Kenneth Anderson (Nine Maneaters and One Rogue, Man Eaters and Jungle Killers), Jim Corbett (Man Eaters of Kumaon, Jungle Lore), RK Narayan (The Man Eater of Malgudi We plan to have a Wildlife enthusiast to talk about his adventures for the first 15-20 minutes and then we can start of the discussions about Exciting /thrilling books that we ve read on Shikari Literaure. So better be there on time!
