Subject : [bookcrossing-41] June Meet Up (June 12th)

Remember we said we would probably try a different venue for the June
meetup? Well, we've booked somewhere - sorry to those of you who
thought we would be at the 'usual' venue! For June we will be meeting
    The Old Shades
    37 Whitehall
The nearest mainline train/tube is Charing Cross. Turn left from there
and go until you hit Trafalgar Square, then left onto Whitehall (not
hard left, more in the direction that Nelson is looking!). The pub is
on your left - it is a very narrow frontage, so take care not to miss
it. We have booked the area right at the back of this long pub. The
OBCZ is on the right as you enter the pub, so do have a look on your
    way in!
The area is booked from 7pm. Food is available - I'm not sure what
time they stop serving, Mary will be checking that out on Thursday so
    I'll update here then.
Hopefully this venue will prove to be a good alternate for when we
need wheelchair access. Anyway, let us know after the meetup how you
think it compares with the Camel and Artichoke!
Please Note: If you hit "REPLY", your message will be sent to everyone
