Hike Mary Moore Searight Park

I hiked this little gem Friday Jan. 3rd and would like to share it with my fellow Boomertime friends.

We will walk to Slaughter Creek and back.  It is around 3.5 to 4 miles and will take close to 1.5 hours.  That includes a short break/photo op at the creek.

This is a moderate hike with some inclines and rocks/roots to maneuver.

Wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

PS If you have never been to this park, the road to turn off Slaughter can be overseen. Make sure you click on the map and become familiar with the turn.

I have found a remedy for my allergies.....I swab vaseline in my nose cavities everyday. I find that the vaseline traps pollen in the outer nose and won't let it travel up the canals of your sinus regions. I hope this helps some of you.

Unless my allergies go downhill today, I will be there! I will let you know by tonight if I am not going to be able to make it, otherwise looking forward to it!

Great idea, I'd come if my allergies weren't so bad right now. Keep it up and I'll join later, thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
